Citrine

Citrine is the transparent, pale to golden, yellow to dark yellow or orange variety of quartz. A trace of iron in citrine’s structure is responsible for its color while the gemstone is rare in nature.
The name comes from the French word citron, meaning lemon.

People have used quartz in jewelry since thousands of years ago. The ancient Greeks carved rock crystal ornaments. Today, its attractive color, along with the durability it shares with most other quartzes, makes citrine the top-selling yellow to orange gem.

Citrine is believed to be powerful for energizing and recharging, by stimulating the body's own healing energies. It is good for elevating self-esteem and self-confidence. It promotes creativity and helps personal clarity. It is suitable for overcoming depression, fears, and phobias. Citrine cannot hold negative vibes; it carries the power of the sun, therefore is a good stone for clearing aura.

Citrine is the birthstone for November along with Topaz.
It is the gem of 13th anniversary.
